Overview

Financial wellness for the 100-year life

The World Economic Forum and Mercer are pleased to invite you to a special meeting on redesigning retirement for the 100-year life. This session focuses on the outcomes and findings of a six-month study conducted by three different multistakeholder working groups looking at retirement as part of a broader multistage life. This meeting addresses:

  • How the private sector can have a substantial impact on its employees by offering flexible retirement
  • How individuals can secure a more sustainable retirement with a personalized plan
  • How the broader society needs to view longevity in the future

Chip Conley, entrepreneur and bestselling author, delivers a keynote address on what it means to be a modern elder. Using Chip’s insights and the working group findings, we lay out a thought-provoking agenda for all to consider.

Why attend

The nature of work is changing. Longevity is a reality that companies and employees can’t ignore if they’re going to build sustainable futures over the short- and long-term. Now more than ever, living with COVID-19, we must examine not just how to live, but how to live long and well. This event will provide innovative and practical solutions to help ensure you - and your employees - can transition and thrive in the future of work.
